GENERAL SANTOS CITY - Mabuhay Elementary School is set to gain a new multi-purpose building as construction moves forward following its groundbreaking in Barangay Mabuhay, General Santos City. The project is described by the city government as a ₱6-million investment from the Local Development Fund, with Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao leading the ceremony alongside Barangay Mabuhay Chairperson Anna Marie Boga. Beyond the construction itself, the project represents an effort to provide the school with a more suitable space for activities that require room beyond the classroom. Its beginning gives students and teachers something tangible to look forward to as the school community prepares for a new shared facility.
More Than Four Walls and a Roof
A covered court can become one of the busiest spaces on a school campus because its usefulness extends well beyond physical education classes.
