PHP300 Million for GEAMH: Rehabilitation and Modernization

The General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital, located in Trece Martires City, is the sole government-run hospital and the only provincial tertiary hospital in Cavite . The PHP300-million allocation will cover the rehabilitation of structural buildings, modernization of wards and clinics, and the purchase of state-of-the-art medical devices to enhance patient care .

Governor Remulla emphasized that the funds are intended to ensure better hospital facilities and sufficient support for medical frontliners. "Naniniwala tayo na magagawa natin ito kung may maayos na ospital at sapat na suporta sa ating medical frontliners. Direktang nararamdaman ng publiko ang kalidad na serbisyo," he said.

PHP200 Million for Mental Health Services

The remaining PHP200 million from the PHP500-million total allocation is dedicated to the Cavite Center for Mental Health . The Cavite Center for Mental Health is a provincial facility separate from the DOH-supervised National Center for Mental Health . This investment aims to expand the center's capacity to address the growing mental health needs of Caviteños.

The Cavite Center for Mental Health allocation covers infrastructure improvements, facility upgrades, and the procurement of modern equipment to enhance mental health services. This move aligns with Governor Remulla's administration's three priority thrusts: Health, Education, and Infrastructure.
