ILOILO CITY — The Iloilo City Government has opened a new public reading center in Barangay South Fundidor, Molo, offering free Wi-Fi and ample study space for students, reviewees, and young learners. The facility is part of a broader citywide push to make learning accessible to everyone.

The reading center is located on the second floor of the ECCD Center in South Fundidor, Molo. It provides a quiet, comfortable environment where young minds can read, study, and create. The space is open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, completely free to use.
The facility features plenty of table space, perfect for study sessions, review mode, or simply focusing on a good book. Free Wi-Fi adds to the center's appeal, making it an ideal spot for digital learning and research. Students preparing for board exams now have a cost-free alternative to commercial study hubs.
Part of a Growing Network
This reading center is just one component of Iloilo City's expanding public learning infrastructure. The city operates eight barangay reading centers across different districts. These include locations in Quintin Salas, Nabitasan, Rizal Pala-Pala II, and PHHC Block 17 Mandurriao.
The city also maintains two district libraries, including the main Iloilo City Public Library at the Graciano Lopez Jaena Learning Center and Museum. The Justice Ramon Avanceña Library in Arevalo serves as another key resource hub for students and researchers.
