GENERAL LUNA, SIARGAO — The Municipality of General Luna is inviting young residents to showcase their creativity and skills through the CaYA naTEEN Show 2026, an Inter-Barangay Multi-Talent Competition scheduled for September 18, 2026, at the Municipal Grounds. Open to participants aged 13 to 30, the event aims to discover emerging talents while giving young people an opportunity to represent their respective barangays. Registration remains open until September 7, 2026, encouraging aspiring performers and artists to take part in a friendly competition that celebrates youth talent and community pride.

A Platform for Talent and Community Pride

More than a contest, the CaYA naTEEN Show provides a space for General Luna’s youth to express themselves and share their abilities with the wider community. Participants may showcase their talents through singing, dancing, spoken word, and other forms of artistic expression. The competition also encourages young people to build confidence, explore their potential, and form connections with fellow talents from different barangays. By bringing young performers together, the event highlights the diversity of skills within the municipality and creates an environment where each participant can be recognized for their unique abilities. It also strengthens a sense of belonging and pride among the youth as they represent their communities on one stage.

Exciting Prizes and a Chance to Shine

Participants will compete for cash prizes, with PHP 25,000 for the champion, PHP 15,000 for the first runner-up, PHP 10,000 for the second runner-up, and PHP 4,000 for consolation winners. Beyond the financial rewards, the competition offers young talents an opportunity to gain recognition, experience performing before an audience, and connect with other aspiring artists. Interested participants may coordinate with their respective SK Chairpersons for registration details, guidelines, and entry requirements. Through the CaYA naTEEN Show 2026, General Luna continues to provide opportunities for its young residents to develop their talents, build meaningful connections, and take pride in representing their barangays. The initiative reflects the municipality’s efforts to create a more active, confident, and empowered youth community.
