IMUS CITY, CAVITE - took a significant step toward empowering out-of-school learners on August 25, 2026, as 22 Alternative Learning System (ALS) students from various schools underwent Digital Literacy Training at the City of Imus Public Library Computer Room, equipping them with essential computer skills needed for higher education and future employment.
Training Details and Skills Taught
Imus City, through its Public Library, provided the training to 22 ALS students under the instruction of Maria Isidra L. Bergunder and Frederick M. Sayoc. The participants learned essential skills in Microsoft Word, including document creation, editing, and resume drafting using templates. They also gained proficiency in Microsoft Excel, covering data organization, basic formulas, filtering, Flash Fill, and data validation, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, focusing on creating engaging presentations with shapes, WordArt, icons, and animations.
