The latest effort, a Workshop on the Formulation of Guidelines, Management Framework, and Operational Procedures, was held on July 15–16, 2026 at the Barangay Hall in Barangay Mahaba. This gathering brought together city officials and concerned stakeholders to draft the necessary protocols. It is part of a continuing process to prepare the mountain for safe and organized public access.
The workshop focused on critical components for the mountain's opening. These include comprehensive safety measures, environmental protection protocols, and a robust management framework.
