IMUS, CAVITE - successfully hosted the OTOP Fiesta at Ayala Malls Vermosa from August 15 to 16, 2026, featuring a vibrant showcase of local goods from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the activity center.
A Weekend of Local Flavors and Crafts
Imus welcomed shoppers to the Ayala Malls Vermosa activity center for two days of food and craft discovery. The OTOP Fiesta highlighted the diversity of local products, featuring Chef P Buko Pie, known for its classic and ube-flavored traditional pies; Mitch Sweet Creations, offering freshly baked pastries and sweet treats; and various handicrafts and goods including Capiz crafts and specialty snacks. These products represent the entrepreneurial spirit of Imus, which has transitioned from a rural municipality into a thriving commercial hub.
Supporting the OTOP Program in Cavite
Imus's hosting of the OTOP Fiesta reflects the city's ongoing commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs through the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Philippines Program, a government initiative that enables localities to develop and promote their unique products. The Ayala Malls Vermosa activity center provided an accessible venue for these entrepreneurs to reach a wider customer base. Through events like this, the city continues to empower small business owners and strengthen the local economy by connecting them directly with consumers.
