TRECE MARTIRES CITY, CAVITE — The local labor landscape received a massive international boost as 10 licensed overseas employment agencies converged in the city to offer 3,529 total job vacancies abroad. Key Overseas Industries Featured
Participating recruitment agencies brought portfolios spanning critical global sectors, offering diverse opportunities for Caviteño workers seeking international careers. These sectors include healthcare and medical services, with demand for nurses, caregivers, and allied health staff; engineering and construction, covering civil, electrical, and structural trades; manufacturing and production; hospitality and beauty services; maritime and seafaring; and agriculture and general support services. The broad range of industries reflects the global demand for Filipino workers, who are highly regarded for their skills, dedication, and adaptability. For jobseekers, the event provided a one-stop venue to explore multiple career paths and connect directly with reputable recruitment agencies, streamlining the often complex process of finding overseas employment.
Integrated Government One-Stop-Shop (GOSS)
Going beyond recruitment, the event integrated a multi-agency public service desk that assisted 197 individuals on-site, slashing the need to visit separate regional government offices. Thirteen key national and local agencies participated in the Government One-Stop-Shop, including the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) for migrant worker support and welfare services; the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Philippine National Police (PNP) for clearance and documentation processing; the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for civil registry documents; financial institutions including the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, PhilHealth, and the Land Bank of the Philippines for membership and financial services; and regulatory and economic support agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the OPSWDO. This comprehensive approach ensures that jobseekers not only find employment opportunities but also receive the necessary support services to facilitate their transition to overseas work.
A Model for Local Employment Facilitation
The Trece Martires Mega Job Fair 2026 exemplifies the city's proactive approach to employment facilitation, following previous successful initiatives like the Land a Job Fast Mega Job Fair and Lingkod Bayani on the Go: Government Express 2026 in General Trias, which connected over 1,200 jobseekers with more than 4,000 job vacancies. By bringing together overseas employment agencies and government service providers under one roof, Trece Martires is making it easier for residents to access international career opportunities while ensuring they have the documentation and support needed to succeed abroad. The balanced participation of male and female jobseekers also reflects the city's commitment to inclusive employment, providing equal opportunities for all residents to pursue their professional aspirations. As the demand for Filipino workers continues to grow globally, events like this play a crucial role in connecting local talent with international employers, contributing to both the local economy through remittances and the personal development of Caviteño workers and their families.
