The development was discussed during a courtesy visit to Surigao City officials on August 18, when Starlite Ferries Branch Manager Manuelito Odivelas and his team presented the company's current operations and plans for the route. The service includes a 9:00 AM daily departure from Surigao to Cebu, while trips from Cebu to Surigao are scheduled at 9:00 PM daily, with an additional 9:00 AM service from Monday to Thursday. Passengers taking the day trip are also provided free lunch.
