The Provincial Government of Cavite and the Department of Tourism CALABARZON are participating in the TPB Regional Travel Fair at the Alnor Hotel and Convention Center in Cotabato City today, August 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, to connect tourism stakeholders and build sustainable partnerships. The event, organized by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines, serves as a key platform for promoting regional tourism and fostering long-term industry collaboration.
About the Regional Travel Fair
The 18th Regional Travel Fair, organized by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the BARMM Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism, puts the spotlight on the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao as it enters a more deliberate stage of development. The three-day event kicked off on August 14 with a business-to-business session bringing together 42 buyers and 52 sellers/exhibitors.
Cavite's participation is a strategic move to connect with tourism stakeholders from across the country, particularly as the region advances its tourism roadmap under the BARMM Tourism Development Plan 2025-2033. The Cavite Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer and DOT Region 4A are actively engaging in business-to-business networking sessions designed to present tourism products, explore partnerships, and work toward bookings that extend beyond the fair.
Building Sustainable Partnerships Across Regions
The Regional Travel Fair serves as a vital platform for tourism stakeholders to discover emerging destinations, connect with industry leaders, and build meaningful partnerships. Beyond traditional business matchmaking, the event aims to expand market access for tourism enterprises while supporting efforts to translate cultural and natural assets into sustainable economic opportunities.
The participation of Cavite and DOT CALABARZON in this year's fair in Cotabato City aligns with the Department of Tourism's broader strategy of strengthening regional tourism development and promoting inclusive growth across all regions of the Philippines. By connecting with BARMM tourism stakeholders and other regional partners, Cavite is positioning itself as a key player in the country's tourism landscape while supporting the Bangsamoro region's advancing tourism agenda.
