CARMONA - residents can now report emergencies and community concerns faster than ever with the launch of the SOS: BML Community App, available for free download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. This digital tool, developed by the City Government of Carmona, transforms emergency reporting by connecting citizens directly to key responders including the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

A Lifeline That Connects Citizens to Responders

The BML Emergency App is more than just a digital tool—it is a platform for inclusive, fast, and responsive emergency and community services. What sets the app apart is its promotion of participatory governance, bridging the gap between citizens, barangays, homeowners associations (HOAs), and the city government. By empowering residents to report emergencies, concerns, and community issues, the app strengthens transparency, accountability, and collaboration at the local level.

Inclusivity at Its Core

The app features dedicated support for sectoral groups, including Gender and Development (GAD), Senior Citizens, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and victims of Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), ensuring that vulnerable sectors are included and protected in every response. Operated by the Carmona Operation Center, the app enables real-time incident reporting directly to key responders such as the PNP, BFP, and CDRRMO.

The app aligns with five United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-being, Gender Equality, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. Its availability on both app stores ensures that every resident with a smartphone can access emergency services with just a few taps, embodying Carmona's commitment to participatory governance and community resilience where "Dapat Angat Lahat."
