CAVITE -The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and local government units in Cavite have established three One Town, One Product (OTOP) Hubs across the province, providing dedicated spaces for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to display and sell their products. These hubs serve as regular outlets where consumers can find high-quality local goods ranging from food items to handicrafts, making it easier for Caviteños and tourists alike to support homegrown businesses.
OTOP Hub Locations in Cavite
The OTOP Hubs are strategically located in three key cities across the province to maximize accessibility and visibility for both entrepreneurs and shoppers. OTOP Hub Bacoor is situated at the 2nd Floor Government Center in Main Square Mall along Molino Boulevard. OTOP Hub Dasmariñas is conveniently located at the UG Level of SM City Dasmariñas, offering shoppers easy access to local products while visiting the mall. OTOP Hub Tagaytay is housed at D' Banquet Bakeshop and Restaurant along Aguinaldo Highway, Arnoldus Road, in Tagaytay City, which also serves as the venue for the first OTOP Hub in the CALABARZON region.
The strategic placement of these hubs in high-traffic commercial areas ensures that local products receive maximum exposure to both residents and tourists. The Tagaytay hub, being the first in the region, has already demonstrated the potential of this initiative by generating significant sales, with one location reportedly achieving PHP1.6 million in sales within its first few months of operation.
Supporting Local MSMEs Through OTOP Hubs
The OTOP Program is a government initiative aimed at helping local entrepreneurs develop their products and reach wider markets. Through these hubs, MSMEs gain access to a regular retail space where they can sell their goods, test new products, and build their brand presence. The OTOP Next Gen Program provides assistance in product development, packaging, design, and marketing to help local businesses become more competitive.
This initiative creates a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both producers and consumers. Local entrepreneurs gain exposure and income, shoppers discover unique products, and the local economy is strengthened through the promotion of indigenous crafts and delicacies. The OTOP hubs serve as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit of Cavite, offering a curated selection of products that reflect the province's distinct identity.
Discover Cavite's Local Treasures
Whether you are looking for unique souvenirs, local delicacies, or handcrafted items, the OTOP Hubs are the perfect places to discover the rich and diverse products of Cavite's talented entrepreneurs. Each hub features a rotating selection of products from various OTOPreneurs, ensuring that shoppers always have something new to discover.
