From Tandag City, the capital of Surigao del Sur, the beach can be reached in about an hour by taking the Tandag–Cagwait Road, covering a distance of approximately 30 kilometers. Commuters may board a bus at the Tandag bus terminal heading toward Butuan or Davao and request to get off at the Cagwait Beach junction. From there, they can hire a habal-habal or tricycle for the short trip to the shoreline. Lodging options around the beach are mainly local guesthouses and small resorts, so visitors are encouraged to ask about available accommodations upon arrival.
