Designed to equip local government personnel with vital survival skills, the proactive initiative brought together municipal employees and safety officers for classroom instruction and hands-on emergency training.

Expert-Led Safety Lectures and Practical Demonstrations

The program commenced at the Tourism Hall, where the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), led by SFO4 Marlon Buranday, delivered an in-depth lecture on fundamental fire safety principles. The session featured practical demonstrations on the proper handling, operation, and maintenance of firefighting equipment. Following the classroom orientation, participants proceeded to the Galicano N. Ruiz Center (GNRC) for a full-scale, actual fire drill to test and refine standard evacuation protocols under simulated emergency conditions.
