The DOT7 Tourism Regulation Division Accreditation Team, in coordination with the Municipal Tourism Office of Daanbantayan, inspected a total of 77 accommodation establishments and one restaurant. Six motorized bancas and five land transport vehicles from mainland Daanbantayan were also evaluated.
The four-day caravan covered establishments across Barangay Logon, the main community on Malapascua Island. Inspectors assessed compliance with government standards for service, health, safety, and facility operations.
