Bringing Oral Healthcare Closer to Government Employees
BOHOL - The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, provided free dental consultations to Capitol employees on September 8, 2026, at the GAD Resource Center. Conducted through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), the activity formed part of the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary and gave government workers convenient access to basic oral healthcare within their workplace. The initiative reflects the province’s effort to make essential health services more accessible to its workforce.
Promoting Employee Health Through Accessible Services
PHO dentists Dr. Diocliciano Salera, Dr. Cecilia Garay, Dr. Crisostomo Romero, and Dr. Luwinfel Janette Pansacala provided consultations to participating PGBh employees. Bringing dental professionals directly to the Capitol allowed employees to seek professional advice without having to travel elsewhere for an initial consultation. The activity also highlights the importance of maintaining good oral health as part of overall wellness, particularly for employees who contribute daily to the delivery of public services across the province.
Supporting a Healthier and More Resilient Bohol
The free dental consultation supports the Capitol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap by placing employee health and well-being among the priorities of people-centered governance. Programs that promote accessible healthcare can contribute to a healthier workforce while supporting the broader goal of building a smart, resilient, inclusive, and sustainable Bohol. Through initiatives such as this, the provincial government continues to emphasize the value of investing in its people while advancing community development within the Philippines’ first and only UNESCO Global Geopark.
