CARCAR CITY, Cebu — The Cebu Provincial Government, in partnership with the University of Cebu Medical Center (UCMed), will hold a free surgical mission at Cebu Provincial Hospital-Carcar as part of the province’s 457th founding anniversary. The initiative aims to bring essential surgical care closer to residents of Carcar City and neighboring southern towns.
Free Surgeries for Those in Need
The mission will provide both major and minor surgical procedures at no cost to patients. Major operations include hernia repair, gallstone removal, goiter surgery, and hemorrhoid treatment. Minor procedures will cover the excision of lumps, lipomas, and other cysts that require removal.
This program directly targets low-income families who often delay surgery due to prohibitive costs. Pre-Screening Schedule Announced
