ALANGALANG, LEYTE — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) has completed the construction of a two-storey, six-classroom academic building at Mariano Salazar Elementary School in Barangay Cabadsan, Alangalang, Leyte.
Infrastructure Scope and Facility Upgrade
The newly turnover structure represents a major facility upgrade for the rural elementary school:
First Multi-Storey Structure: The newly completed facility marks the first two-storey school building constructed on the Mariano Salazar Elementary School campus, expanding existing classroom capacity.
Standard Construction: All six classrooms were constructed in strict accordance with DPWH engineering standards and building specifications to ensure structural durability and long-term utility for students and faculty.
Learning Environment: The project provides dedicated instruction spaces designed to reduce classroom overcrowding and improve learning conditions for elementary students in Barangay Cabadsan.
