MATAG-OB, LEYTE — Local bakers and cake decorators gathered at Matag-ob Freedom Park on September 19, 2026, to compete in the "Himorasak Sweet Showdown: Tam-is sa Ani 2026," a live culinary arts exhibition held as part of the town’s 5th Himorasak Festival.
Culinary Competition and Theme Integration
Organized as a cornerstone event of the annual harvest celebration, the competition challenged participants to design themed confections reflecting Matag-ob’s agricultural heritage:
