ILOILO — The Iloilo City Government will launch the Atipan-on-the-Move Caravan on September 25, 2026, at the Calaparan Gym in Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo. The initiative brings frontline services directly to residents who may struggle to visit City Hall and other government offices.
A One-Stop Shop for City Services
The caravan consolidates a wide array of assistance into a single accessible venue. Residents can seek help for social welfare, health, education, livelihood, employment, civil registration, legal concerns, infrastructure, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, business services, and animal welfare. The Atipan Center and Welfare and Help Desk will handle general inquiries and barangay concerns.
The Infrastructure and Facility Conservation Office will address community infrastructure issues. For civil registration, residents can process birth certificates, corrections, and late registration. National ID registration will also be available. The Legal Desk offers free notarial services and legal consultations.
Health, Employment, and Livelihood Support
The City Health Office will provide free medical and dental consultations, laboratory tests, and medicines through the Uswag Pharmacy under the MediSen+ program. The Public Employment Service Office will offer employment assistance, skills training enrollment, livelihood support, and grooming services through UswagPs.
The Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office will assist small entrepreneurs with business permits, registration, MSME consultations, and the Uswag Negosyo Academy. These services aim to boost local enterprise and create economic opportunities.
Assistance for Seniors, PWDs, and Businesses
Senior citizens and persons with disabilities can access support from the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office. Services include registration, benefits orientation, senior citizen benefits, and PWD ID assistance. The City Social Welfare and Development Office will also offer help for Solo Parents, SoloKonek, and the Community Kitchen.
The City Veterinary Office will provide anti-rabies vaccinations, pet consultations, and registration for neutering services. This ensures that animal welfare remains part of the city's holistic approach to community care.
