Kabankalan Earns Recognition at NOCPPO Anniversary
BACOLOD - The City Government of Kabankalan secured 2nd Place in the City Category of the Kiosk Competition held as part of the 52nd Founding Anniversary of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO). The competition took place on August 28, 2026, at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City, bringing together participating local government units in a celebration that highlighted creativity and community identity.
Showcasing Kabankalan’s Local Identity
Kabankalan’s award-winning kiosk was jointly presented by the Local Economic Investment Promotions Office (LEIPO), Kabankalan City Showroom and Pasalubong Center, and City Tourism Office. The display featured the city’s local products while highlighting its tourism identity, creativity, and community pride. Through the presentation, Kabankalan demonstrated how local products and tourism initiatives can help tell the story of the city and promote its unique identity to a wider audience.

The second-place finish reflects the collaborative effort of Kabankalan’s offices in promoting the city’s products, destinations, and local character.
