MAKATI CITY — The City of Makati is celebrating a double victory as two of its young athletes brought home medals from separate international competitions. Elisabella C. Domingo, a proud resident of Barangay Kasilawan, captured Gold Medals at the Hainan Beach Games 2026 held at Dadonghai Beach in Sanya, China. Her achievement adds to the Philippines' strong performance at the Games, where the national delegation secured three gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.

In a separate triumph, Isagani M. Domingo earned a Silver Medal at the World Taekwondo Culture Expo 2026 in Muju, South Korea. This international taekwondo festival is recognized as South Korea's premier event of its kind, drawing more than 4,000 athletes, coaches, and enthusiasts from around the world. The competition featured events in poomsae and kyorugi, showcasing the best of Korean culture, tourism, and the core values of taekwondo.
