MAKATI CITY — The World Cube Association-sanctioned Makati Heroes Speedcubing 2026 is set to take over the Cyberzone on the 2nd Floor of SM Makati in Ayala Center on August 23, 2026. The competition, organized by NFR Cube Merchandise, invites competitors of all skill levels to test their speed and precision across seven official puzzle events, including the main event, 3x3x3. With a competitor limit of 70 participants and a registration fee of PHP650 covering all events, the competition offers a structured and exciting environment for both seasoned speedcubers and first-time competitors.
A Full Day of Puzzle-Solving Challenges
The competition will run from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, featuring multiple rounds of high-speed puzzle-solving. The lineup includes the 3x3x3 (3 rounds), 2x2x2 (1 round), 5x5x5 (1 round), 7x7x7 (1 round), 3x3x3 One-Handed (1 round), Megaminx (1 round), and Pyraminx (1 round). Registration opens on June 24, 2026, and closes on August 19, 2026, with slots secured on a payment-first basis via GCash. All newcomers are required to read the WCA First-time Competitor Guide to familiarize themselves with the regulations.
