The centerpiece of the day was the 12.5‑meter Barangay Salong Haunch Bridge, part of a P19‑million road rehabilitation project. Salong Punong Barangay Sanny Demin recalled that students, farmers, and motorists suffered for decades. The flooding cut off access to schools, markets, and essential services. The bridge finally solves a problem that had stifled the area’s economic potential for generations.
