MAKATI CITY — Children and teenagers in Makati now have the opportunity to join a structured youth strength and development program designed to help them build lifelong physical skills in a safe and supportive setting. Throughout May and June 2026, Kaimera Athletics is hosting its Strong Start Summer Break Camp at the Active Center in San Antonio Village, providing young participants with an engaging way to stay active during the school break.
Strength Training Designed for Growing Bodies
The camp emphasizes age-appropriate strength training, coordination, and healthy movement patterns tailored to developing bodies. Through small-group coaching sessions, participants are guided in improving movement quality, building strength, and developing habits of discipline and consistency that can benefit both athletic performance and everyday activities. Safety remains a primary focus throughout the program. All sessions are conducted in small groups and closely supervised by coaches with training in sports science and youth development, ensuring that every participant receives proper guidance and support.
A Flexible, Weekend Schedule for Busy Families
To accommodate different family schedules, the camp is offered in two separate batches: four weekends in May and four weekends in June. Each session lasts approximately one hour, and families have the flexibility to choose either Saturday or Sunday attendance each weekend while still completing the full program.
What Participants Gain
The Strong Start Summer Break Camp includes structured strength and movement training, progress-based development sessions, and a concluding challenge weekend that allows participants to showcase what they have learned. Upon completing the program, each child receives a certificate of completion, a Strong Start medal, and a digital progress report for parents. Beyond these recognitions, the camp aims to help children improve posture and coordination, lower the risk of sports-related injuries, strengthen bones and muscles, build confidence and discipline, and enhance performance in sports and other physical activities.
Registration Details
The all-inclusive registration fee is PHP4,500, with enrollment open until April 30, 2026, or until all available slots are filled. Sessions will be held at the Kaimera Athletics Active Center, located on the Upper Ground Floor of Palm Towers in San Antonio Village, Makati City, beside St. Paul Seminary.
Parents and guardians are advised to drop off participants 15 minutes before the start of each session and return 15 to 20 minutes after completion. While the facility does not provide dedicated parking, street-side parking options are available nearby.
Building Confidence and Independence
Due to space limitations, parents will not be permitted to remain and observe during training sessions. The policy is intended to encourage children to develop greater confidence, independence, and meaningful social interaction with fellow participants. By combining structured coaching, physical development, and a supportive environment, the Strong Start Summer Break Camp offers young athletes an opportunity to establish a strong foundation for both sports participation and everyday physical activity while enjoying a productive and rewarding summer experience.
