The Angeles City Police Office supported the Measles–Rubella "Tigdas Ligtas" Vaccination Program on August 12, 2026, at Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, vaccinating 107 children to protect them from preventable diseases. The vaccination drive was held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Purok 10, Oak Street, Sta. Maria 1, Barangay Balibago.
Police and Community Collaboration for Child Health
The vaccination drive was supervised by PMAJ Joer Jim M. Jimeno, PCPT Aaron Cornelius C. Palisoc, and PSSg Dave Patrick G. Polon, who ensured the smooth conduct of the activity. The Angeles City Police Office has been actively involved in community health initiatives, demonstrating its commitment beyond law enforcement to include public health and safety. This includes supporting programs that protect the most vulnerable members of the community—young children.
A Continuing Commitment to Community Wellness
The program's purpose is to prevent the spread of measles and rubella in the local community, protect young children's health through active police and community collaboration, and promote overall well-being and safety against vaccine-preventable diseases. The Angeles City Police Office's support for the "Tigdas Ligtas" program is part of a broader effort by the city government to ensure the health and safety of its residents, aligning with the city's ongoing initiatives to maintain public health and security.
