CITY OF IMUS, CAVITE — In a city that's constantly moving forward, education has to move with it. And at the City College of Imus (CCI), that's exactly what's happening. CCI continues to empower the community by delivering accessible, top-tier, and industry-aligned skills training—shaping future-ready Imuseños who are prepared to excel in the modern workforce. It's not just about education. It's about transformation. And the numbers prove it.
Accessible Education That Leaves No One Behind
CCI breaks down barriers to ensure every resident has the opportunity to learn and grow. Its technical-vocational programs are offered free of charge to qualified Imus residents, with priority given to 4Ps beneficiaries, solo parents, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and other qualified residents. This commitment to inclusive education ensures that learning is not a privilege reserved for a few, but a pathway available to those who need it most.
Industry-Relevant Training That Leads to Real Jobs
CCI's programs are designed to align with current market demands, ensuring graduates are immediately employable. In April 2026 alone, 393 students graduated from 17 technical and vocational courses, including Hilot Wellness Massage, Cookery, Espresso-Based Preparation, Wiring Devices, and Hotel Room Preparation. A second batch in August 2026 saw another 498 graduates—proof that CCI's reach is expanding. These are not abstract credentials; they are skills that translate directly to livelihoods.
Community Empowerment Through Real Success Stories
CCI fosters a skilled, confident workforce to drive local economic growth, and the stories speak for themselves. Kassandra Mae Sabtal, a former CCI student, turned her training in coffee-making and hilot wellness into her own thriving business. Her journey—from student to entrepreneur—is exactly what CCI was designed to create: self-sufficiency, resilience, and prosperity. By providing free, industry-aligned training, Imus is creating pathways to employment, supporting local businesses, and building a culture of entrepreneurship where skills become livelihoods. It's a cycle of opportunity: train a resident, employ a worker, grow a business, uplift a community.
