The beneficiaries—livestock, local, and women farmers of Angeles City—learned to produce three key meat products: Hungarian sausage, bacon, and embotido.
These processed meat products were chosen for their market potential. Hungarian sausage is known for its distinct smoky flavor seasoned with peppercorn and paprika . Bacon is a widely popular cured pork product with strong consumer demand. Embotido, in the Philippine context, refers to a type of meatloaf wrapped around slices of egg and sausage .
