PAMPANGA - The "CSFP Habagat Bayanihan" initiative has brought together private citizens, local businesses, and volunteer organizations to provide immediate aid to families displaced by severe flooding caused by the Southwest Monsoon. Despite facing their own personal hardships, these community members stepped up to offer food, water, clothing, and rescue support. This is community spirit in action—a powerful reminder that even in the toughest times, Kapampangans come together to help one another.
A Community United: Food, Water, and Clothing Pour In
The relief effort saw an outpouring of donations from individuals and groups across the city. Jhen Tanqueco of Jhen's Chocolate Store distributed 63 food packs to Quebiawan evacuees, while the Kaya Natin Youth-CSFP Chapter supplied hot meals to multiple locations . Klein Cunanan provided hot meals and water to over 70 evacuees at San Agustin Integrated School . Vince Marco Miranda and Ms. Shaii Vibes delivered food packs to St. Jude Village, while the Magtanong & Laxamana family distributed supplies in Dela Paz Sur and Pandaras .
The ZumbAgustin Warriors provided food packs and clothing across several areas. Bulaon COF supplied 67 dinner packs specifically for Dela Paz Sur and 25 relief goods, blankets, and clothes for Del Carmen evacuees. LA Ventura and Aguman ding Kayanakang Kapampangan para king Kayapan also distributed hot meals and food packs to multiple evacuation sites . Local businesses like Rabit Alley Garden Bar and Resto served free hot soup, while BULABOG partnered with various groups to distribute frozen goods, burgers, and hot meals.
Rice, Water, Rescue, and How You Can Help
In addition to food, the CT Run Club, Suzuki Virus Club, and UAP Pampanga Centro jointly donated 200 packs of rice for Magliman residents, while the Water Refilling Station Owners and Operators’ Association CSFP donated 100 cases of bottled water . A separate, previously thanked group of institutional organizations also donated directly to the city's Emergency Operations Center to support ongoing command and control efforts.
Ana Bherlene, Aryet Manabat, and their team consolidated food packs, clothing, and hygiene kits, while MaritesCharizzz, Roman Hernandez, Justine Cordero, and Jay Anthony Pasion donated various assortments of relief goods . Various rescue volunteers also provided critical on-the-ground disaster response across multiple affected barangays, helping to ensure the safety of residents.
