The delegation, spearheaded by CHED Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong, DPA, alongside officials from participating state universities and colleges (SUCs), toured the facility to observe the school's academic offerings, industry-aligned training facilities, and initiatives supporting workforce readiness . WCC ATC was represented by Dr. Roger A. Martinez Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Richard John Vergara, Career Development Manager. This visit aligns with the institution's expansion in Clark following a strategic partnership with the Clark Development Corporation.

Building on a Legacy of Aviation Excellence

The CHED visit follows a significant milestone for WCC ATC, which was formally recognized by CHED as one of the Philippines' approved providers of Transnational Higher Education on June 10, 2026 . This recognition covers the institution's pioneering academic pathway: the Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology with International Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category "M", developed in partnership with the British Columbia Institute of Technology . This transnational program allows students to develop foundational knowledge at WCC ATC Philippines before continuing their studies at BCIT in Canada, equipping graduates with internationally recognized qualifications and enhanced career opportunities within the global aviation sector.
