SINGAPORE — The Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB) successfully led the first Philippine Construction Business Mission to Singapore from September 2 to 4, 2026. The mission, held alongside BEX Asia 2026, marks a strategic push to showcase Filipino expertise in the global built-environment sector.

BEX Asia 2026, ASEAN's leading built-environment exhibition, gathered key players from across the construction value chain. The Philippine delegation included contractors, architects, engineers, and technology providers. Their presence aimed to promote the country's capabilities in construction and design services outsourcing.
The mission is an initiative of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines under the Department of Trade and Industry. It represents a concerted effort to internationalize Philippine firms. The focus is on high-value services rather than just labor export.
