The Filinvest partnership came barely a week after SM Development Corp. also inked its own agreement with Pag-IBIG Fund. Earlier in the year, Ayala Land's residential brands Amaia Land Corp. and Avida Land Corp. entered into separate MOUs, providing wider options for Filipino homebuyers under the Fund's special rates.
Megawide Commits Thousands of Socialized Units
Megawide Construction Corp. has committed to building at least 7,000 socialized housing units under the Expanded 4PH Program. The company is utilizing modern construction technologies to accelerate delivery, with ongoing projects currently concentrated in Cavite.
These agreements allow Pag-IBIG Fund to make housing financing available to more members while developers contribute additional inventory. The Fund's increased loanable amount of up to ₱10 million per qualified member has also expanded coverage from socialized housing to the open market segment.
