Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its North American network with increased flight frequencies to Vancouver, New York (JFK), and Toronto starting in late 2026, enhancing connectivity for Kapampangan travelers and overseas Filipinos.
Schedules and Growing Presence in North America
Starting November 17, 2026, PAL will increase its Manila-Vancouver service from 7 to 10 weekly flights. New York (JFK) will see an increase from 3 to 4 weekly flights starting December 2, 2026, with a fifth weekly flight added during the peak holiday season. For Toronto, service will expand from 3 to 4 weekly flights beginning December 5, 2026 . This expansion builds on PAL's existing North American network, which includes nonstop flights to key destinations. The airline has demonstrated steady growth in North American operations, with the Manila-Seattle route launched in October 2024 marking the first new U.S. route in nine years.
New Ultra-Long-Haul Fleet for Extended Operations
The expanded flight frequencies will primarily be operated by Philippine Airlines' growing fleet of Airbus A350 aircraft, including the new ultra-long-haul A350-1000 variant. The A350-1000 offers a longer range and greater passenger capacity, making it ideal for non-stop transpacific flights . Philippine Airlines is positioning the A350-1000 as a key asset for its North American operations, complementing its existing A350-900s. For Kapampangan travelers, this expansion translates to more options and flexibility when visiting family, studying, or doing business in North America.
