The Apalit branch, launched in collaboration with Vision Academy, aims to make "high-quality grassroots basketball training more accessible in the region," according to TPGA Founder and Director Coach Ricky Longares. The curriculum places heavy emphasis on the academy's philosophy of "We Develop Point Guards, We Train Leaders," aiming to teach discipline and strong values alongside athletic skills. Basketball IQ, a key focus of the program, refers to a player's ability to instinctively read the game, make smart decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing situations on the court. This includes knowing when to pass, when to shoot, and how to position oneself effectively without needing constant coaching.

The program has been very active in rolling out various sessions throughout the year, featuring regular weekend programs and weekday summer camps. TPGA has been actively running programs for young athletes across multiple age divisions, including the Junior MPBL Pocket League, which features divisions from 9U to 13U. The academy's approach is holistic, emphasizing that training sessions are designed to help players apply what they learn in real game situations, building confidence, basketball IQ, and winning habits.
