The City of San Fernando, Pampanga officially resumed its Free Cinema program on Monday, August 3, 2026, offering free movie access to qualified senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs). This community wellness initiative, originally envisioned by City Councilor Harvey Quiwa and enhanced by City Councilor Angelo Hizon, Jr., operates with the direct endorsement of Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag and Vice Mayor Aurelio Brenz Gonzales.
Participating Malls and Schedule
Qualified Fernandino residents can enjoy their favorite films and choose their preferred showtimes every Monday at the following local cinema houses: Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, SM City Pampanga, SM City Telabastagan, and VistaMall Pampanga. The program, however, is not available during official Regular Holidays, Special Non-Working Holidays, and the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in December.
Rules and Requirements
To ensure smooth operations, the city government enforces strict validation protocols. Gatekeepers enforce a "No Booklet and No ID, No Entry" policy. Beneficiaries must present both their official Senior Citizen or PWD identification cards along with their movie purchase booklets to secure free admission. This initiative provides a meaningful opportunity for Fernandino seniors and PWDs to enjoy cinema entertainment at no cost, promoting social engagement and well-being.
