Monde M.Y. San Corp., the company behind iconic brands SkyFlakes and Fita, is investing over PHP 5 billion to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. Slated for commercial operations in 2027, the project promises significant job creation and a major boost to Central Luzon's food manufacturing sector.
A Multi-Billion Peso Commitment to Pampanga's Growth
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) officially welcomed Monde M.Y. San Corp. as its newest locator following the signing of a registration agreement on June 23, 2026 . PEZA Director General Tereso Panga and Monde M.Y. San General Manager Keng Sun Mar formalized the agreement at the TECO Industrial Park–Special Economic Zone (TIP-SEZ) in Mabalacat, Pampanga . The project, valued at over PHP 5 billion, will manufacture the company's flagship SkyFlakes crackers and sandwich products—household staples that have been beloved by Filipino consumers for generations.
Manufacturing Excellence and PEZA Support
Founded in 1935, Monde M.Y. San has built a legacy of quality with brands like SkyFlakes, Fita, and M.Y. San Grahams . The new facility is scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2027 and is expected to boost domestic manufacturing output while strengthening the food manufacturing value chain in Central Luzon . PEZA Director General Panga highlighted the significance of the registration, stating, "Monde M.Y. San's decision to locate its new manufacturing facility within the TECO Industrial Park highlights the competitiveness of Philippine ecozones in supporting large-scale, high-value manufacturing investments" .
Job Creation and Economic Impact
The project is expected to generate direct employment for local residents and stimulate economic activity in the region . This investment builds on Monde M.Y. San's existing presence in PEZA-registered zones, including a $28 million manufacturing plant in Carmelray Industrial Park, Laguna, established in 2009 . By establishing a parallel Northern Luzon hub in Mabalacat, the company is expanding its automation capabilities and positioning itself to meet growing domestic and international demand .
