The United Central Luzon Athletic Association (UCLAA) is officially preparing for its 11th season following a successful General Assembly at National University Clark. The gathering brought together athletic directors, sports coordinators, coaches, and representatives from the association's 14 member schools to discuss preparations for the upcoming collegiate sports season scheduled to begin in October .
14 Member Institutions Ready for the New Season
The participating schools for Season 11 include Angeles University Foundation, Our Lady of Fatima University, Marian College of Baliuag, Systems Plus College Foundation, Pampanga State University, Tarlac State University, University of the Assumption, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Divine Grace Colleges of Pampanga, Inc., Bulacan State University, Holy Angel University, Tarlac Agricultural University, First City Providential College, and St. Nicolas College of Business and Technology . The General Assembly focused on finalizing the competition schedule and ensuring all member institutions are aligned for a competitive and exciting season.
A Legacy of Grassroots Sports Development
UCLAA Chairman Gil Cortez, a Kapampangan sports icon and the PBA's very first Rookie of the Year, expressed appreciation for the continued support and commitment of its member schools in promoting collegiate sports and student-athlete development . The UCLAA serves as a vital platform for discovering the next generation of basketball players and other athletes from the region, reinforcing Central Luzon's reputation as a prime hotbed of sports talent in the country . Since its formal introduction in 2015, the league has been a member of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) .
