The land beneath DGT carries a rich history, having served as the Matina Golf Club since 1950. The property was originally acquired by the Villa-Abrille family in 1912. Recognizing the need for expanded commercial infrastructure outside the traditional downtown, the family partnered with Cebu Landmasters Inc. to reimagine the site.
Groundbreaking took place in 2018, marking CLI's flagship estate project in Mindanao. Rather than adopting a concrete-heavy approach, the master plan weaves expansive green spaces and shaded boulevards into the urban fabric.
