LANGTAD, SAGBAYAN, Bohol — The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) has provided Php 100,000 in financial support to the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Langtad, Sagbayan to strengthen youth sports and community activities. The financial assistance was turned over as part of the provincial government’s efforts to empower youth organizations and support sustainable community development across Bohol.
The PGBh, under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, was represented by Chief of Staff Atty. Filipina Asoy-Piollo during the turnover of the financial assistance.
Funding for Digital Scoreboard Project
The financial allocation will be used to purchase a digital scoreboard and an airhorn buzzer for SK Langtad. The equipment is expected to support local sports activities by providing better tools for managing games and community-based competitions. The project will also help improve facilities and activities organized for young people in the barangay.
Supporting Youth Sports and Activities
The initiative highlights the importance of providing youth organizations with resources that allow them to implement programs and activities effectively. Sports activities can provide young people with opportunities to develop teamwork, discipline, leadership, and other skills while encouraging active participation in the community.
