PHILIPPINESHavitas Properties Inc. has officially positioned wellness as the cornerstone of its residential developments, unveiling Phase 2 of Aya Hills in Batangas and a preview of Hinabi Reserve in La Union during a media briefing on July 21, 2026. The twin projects reflect a growing global shift toward health‑focused, income‑generating real estate.

Wellness Real Estate Takes Center Stage

The developer introduced Havitas Wellness Living, a master‑planned collection of leisure communities designed around holistic health and architectural integration. Each project is built on the principle that a home should actively contribute to its owner’s physical, emotional, and financial well‑being. This is not wellness as an amenity, but as the organizing principle of every design decision.

Chairman and co‑founder Alejandro S. Mañalac explained that Havitas structures its communities across eight dimensions of wellness, from biophilic architecture and natural ventilation to spaces that encourage social connection and quiet reflection. The approach responds to surging global demand, with the wellness real estate market projected to grow from $876 billion in 2025 to $1.8 trillion by 2030. Havitas aims to capture this momentum in the Philippine market.

Aya Hills Phase 2: A Lakeside Sanctuary

Aya Hills sits in Talisay, Batangas, overlooking the serene expanse of Taal Lake. The second phase adds 31 units comprising the Zurich Garden Villas and expanded Geneva Suites, with an estimated sales value of ₱527 million. Each unit is priced at an average of ₱17 million and features private pools or whirlpool baths, floor‑to‑ceiling sliding glass doors, and sculptural shading that frames panoramic views.

More than 57 percent of the total development is dedicated to open space, ensuring low‑density living that lowers stress and enhances privacy. The project was recently honored as the FIABCI Philippines 2026 Gold Winner in the Outstanding Developer, Residential – Resort‑Style Category. Its location, just an hour from Alabang and 20 minutes from Tagaytay, makes it an accessible retreat for city dwellers.

Hinabi Reserve: A Coastal Enclave in La Union

Havitas also previewed Hinabi Reserve, an upscale coastal wellness community in San Juan, the surfing capital of the North. Developed through subsidiary Havenia Properties, the project will feature a commercial gateway called “The Weave,” where curated cafés, wellness concepts, and restaurant brands will set the tone before residential turnover. The target issuance of the License to Sell is the fourth quarter of 2026.

The development is designed to serve as an “Active Yielding Asset,” offering owners an optional Lease‑Ready Solution that manages short‑term rentals while they are away. This dual‑purpose model allows buyers to generate income from their property while enjoying personal retreats. The integration of leisure and investment reflects the company’s forward‑thinking approach to modern homeownership.

A Philosophy Built on Eight Dimensions

Havitas’ wellness framework encompasses physical, emotional, spiritual, social, occupational, financial, environmental, and community dimensions. Each home is engineered to maximize natural light, airflow, and privacy, while communal spaces foster interaction and belonging. Dedicated hybrid workspaces support occupational wellness, and native landscaping ensures environmental sustainability.

The financial dimension is particularly notable, as the company treats every unit as an income‑generating asset. This model appeals to buyers seeking both a sanctuary and a return on investment. By embedding these eight pillars into design and operations, Havitas is redefining what it means to live well in the Philippines.
