DAVAO — The Department of Agriculture Davao Region has brought a fresh batch of premium fruits to Bohol as part of the Kadiwa on Wheels program, marking another milestone in the region's expanding agricultural market reach. The selling event runs from September 14 to 16 at the Carlos P. Garcia Park, Bohol Provincial Capitol.
A Harvest of Davao's Finest
The shipment includes durian, mangosteen, pomelo, and other seasonal fruits sourced directly from Davao's farmer cooperatives. A total of 20 metric tons of produce was delivered to Central Visayas, with selling activities scheduled across Bohol and Cebu from September 10 to 16.
The initiative eliminates middle traders, ensuring farmers receive fair compensation while consumers enjoy farm-gate prices. This direct market linkage strengthens the agricultural supply chain and makes fresh produce more accessible to communities outside Mindanao.

Following Central Visayas, the caravan will proceed to Baguio City from September 25 to 28 and the World Trade Center in Pasay City from October 8 to 10.
